I just paid £120 for a service online. I looked on the website, UK number and UK address, even spoke to someone over the phone about it. I paid for the service useing my credit and then I got an email saying that to complete the order I need to send proof of address like a utility or phone bill. Obvious scam I know. I sent that an email demanding my money back and they seem pretty confident that they are a legit business and they need proof because they have, I quote "we have recently experienced an increase in the number of fraud orders........"

I heard that with Credit cards there is some kind of automatic insurance against fraud. How hard would it be to get my money back?

I would have a word with your bank as they are the once's that will be able to answer your question. Basically when ordering things online make sure that the page has a padlock on the browser (normally al the bottom of internet explorer) Also another way to see if the page is secure is to look in your address bar and where is says http:// it should say https:// is it is secure. I think if you speak to your bank they will be able to give you the options that are open for you.

Hope this help
